Very friendly couple run the shop. The fish is the tastiest we've had. Only issue with the place is sometimes it isn't open when it should be according to Google.

First visit as Lonsdale Fisheries wasn't open (on a Saturday?) and pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, good food and decent portions. Got the large chips as wasn't:t sure of portions. Enough for two unless you're really hungry.

My first time ordering had fish pie jumbo battered sausage chips peas and curry sauce everything was absolutely spot on. I will definitely be visiting this chip shop again. Friendly staff efficient service.

Today visited shop and can confirm everything was fantastic.
Food quality was very nice, person on till was very polite and cooperative.
Wish I could give 10 stars.

Tried others until I got to the Pisces. Always good. Often excellent. A weekly treat. Batter on my haddock is always good not soggy like some places and traditional chips Shop chips. Haven't tried anything else.

Fantastic fish n chip shop with lovely friendly owner. The best fish n chips ive ever had highly recommended the lunchtime fish special. Super large portion at £3.70. The best chip shop in Doncaster

Maximum 2 customers at a time in the chip shop. i couldn't see any hand sanitiser. Masks should be worn indoors of course. I had the night time special fish and chips for 4.80 with mushy peas. Pretty decent fish and chips.
