Loved the place. First time I've been in, won't be the last, friendly, comfortable and very reasonable price drinks.
Lovely atmosphere today. Quite a few locals in watching racing.
Took our little dog in for first time this week, they welcomed her, good to know they accept dogs.

I have not visited The White Swan yet, but give you 5 stars on the strength of other reviews, a wonderful history; and that you are still independently owned! My interest in your pub is that it was owned in the 1700s-early 1800s by my family, great, great, great, great grandfather and his son, both called Richard Venables - what an amazing Ancestry find! I hope to visit soon and all the very best with the re-opening - good luck to you.

One of the few traditional pubs left in Doncaster, independently owned and run. Provides a range of real ales and cask beers and sensibly priced good pub food at lunch times. The White Swan also supports live music with 2 open mic sessions per month, 1 acoustic night and a jazz lunchtime performance on the first Saturday of the month.
