Absolutely fabulous fish & chips. Service is fast & efficient by friendly staff. A varied menu to suit anyone .Piping hot food that was still hot when I arrived at home. Well packaged. Value for money. Highly recommend this fish &chips shop.

We've been to the New Lonsdale since it opened last year, and the food there is always freshly cooked and delicious. We have 3 fish and chop shops nearby, and this is the best by far. All the staff are warm,helpful, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend you visit.

Excellent food. The Manager is a top bloke. It's never too much trouble for him to say hello and ask how your day has been. The staff are also lovely.

This is a great little chippy they have lots of choice, lovely and clean, good portion sizes (maybe even to big), extremely friendly, and reasonably priced. I dare say I will stop going to the Hyde Park favourite and make this my regular.

Since this was relaunched it's by far the best in area. Chips are always fluffy and the fish battered to perfection. You can literally pick it up and eat it.
No swimming in grease here.
The service however, a well oiled machine. Food freshly cooked and ready to go. If there's a wait you're advised and it's never been more than a couple of minutes.
The Lonsdale special is easily the best bargain out there £7.50 for a decent sized fish and healthy portion of chips; choice of fish cake or sausage; and beans, gravy, peas or curry sauce to top it off.
Never finished it in one sitting so comfortably sorts me out for lunch the following day.
If fish isn't your thing, the kebabs in a naan are the way to go. Beautiful!

Came up to Doncaster for the meat market, wanted food and found this chip shop, the curry and chips is the best thing Ive ever had from any chip shop. 10/10 will be visiting next time we are up just for that. Wow
The guy (boss?) Was saying hi to everyone and the staff are super friendly and good. They even checked if the curry had enough chicken in it before dishing up.

The finest fish n chips I've had in a long long time, used to love the one in Cantley, but this far exceeds.
The gaffer is a top fella, always greets you with warmth and brilliant service, he's always grafting and constantly keeps his team at it. BRILLIANT....
Keep up the good work guys, and look forward to trying one of the kebabs.

Absolutely love this place, best chippy in town! The large fish is huge and very generous portions of the family sized chips. I will definitely be back…..soon!! Oh and the staff are just amazing, so friendly!!!!!!!!

Been wanting to try this place out for awhile. It was a horrible rainy summers evening so I decided to give it a go. I went for the small cod chips and sausage with mushy peas for free (it counts as a sauce). It was only 3.70. Very good and also filling. recommended
