Just ordered doner kebab and cod and chips online, ready when I arrivd, lovely chat with lady behind counter, kebab was delicious, ate it all way home

Detoured off the A1 on a road trip and fancied fish n chips. Good reviews brought me to Dennis Fish Bar. Service was fast n friendly. Fish and chips were excellent. Fresh tasty chips and good piece of cod with crispy batter. Only let down was the vile ketchup and I think the oil needs a change as it tainted the taste a bit. I'd happily go back but will take my own ketchup. 👍 Large Cod £5.80, chips £2.40, mushy peas £1.20.

Portions are large, one bag of chips would be ample for 2 or more, slightly more expensive than other chip shops due to not having the mini fish deal however will definitely return, the batter on the fish and sausage was lovely

Cod and Chips was good. Good size portion and tasty, chips weren't greasy and the fish was white and fresh.

The food from this chip shop is very good, although recently they did do something that I didn't like. All of the sauce pots (mushy peas, baked beans, gravy, curry sauce), are on view behind the counter. Recently I ordered a large peas with my meal, but the staff member picked up a large pot and for some reason went out the back to fill it; now there might be a perfectly good explanation for why she did this, but after watching a television programme about food outlets a few years ago, and seeing some disgusting videos of what is sometimes done to peoples food, I always like to see my food served in front of me. As soon as I got home I threw the peas away, and opened a tin of baked beans instead. Other than this, I am happy with the food and the service that I have received from here.....

This chip shop is great, their chips are always amazing. Sometimes takes a whike to get the food because they cook it all fresh but it's worth the wait.

I had been told by someone when I was in hospital about this place and she was right it is absolutely beautiful fish and chips and the spam friters were cooked to perfection all in all a beautiful not expensive
