Nando's

Stood at the front counter for a couple of minutes waiting to order (no one else around) while a server stood there. Didn’t get acknowledged, got completely ignored. Actively avoided me, so decided to go next door and grab a kebab instead. A slight acknowledgment of “Hi there, I’ll be one moment.” Does wonders for customers who are ready to order. People don’t mind waiting as long as they’re acknowledged and not blatantly ignored.

Regular visitor to Nando's as we love their spicy char grilled chicken. This store is not bad, staff are friendly and our meal was served in less than 5 minutes. The store itself is starting to look a little shabby and could do with some TLC. Our "tear and share" platter was delicious with just the right amount of charring on our lemon and herb chicken.

Dirty burgers - I'm a fan of nandos but this branch keeps serving burgers with lots burnt gunk from the grill. This is not healthy. It would be nice if they cleaned the grill more often. Overall staff seem disinterested and waiting times of 15minutes+ are not uncommon. The branch at westfield doncaster is much better. Can't wait for them to re-pen after the lockdown.

It's an OK branch for Nando's, not the best. Over-the-phone orders are mostly ready on time, but sometimes when I get there they just initiate the order, making me wait for as long as a normal order would take. The sitting area isn't nice and the crowd is not interesting either. It's best to pick up your food and leave.

I've been to Nando's in at least 6 countries, I can't remember having worst food than the food I had fun this branch. Chicken was very greasy, chips and sweet potatos were too salty even though I specifically asked for no salt after my previous bad experience. Sadly, most of our order ended up in the garbage bin as we wouldn't even give it to animals. On top of that, the staff that took my order didn't seem motivated to work at all. I repeated twice, no salt, but she probably heard, more salt. I'll probably stay away from Nando's in Australia if this is the standard here.
