Outback Steakhouse

We went to this outback January 22, 2022 after shopping. After we was seated the waitress took our drink order immediately and we ordered a blooming onion. She brought our drinks and bread pretty fast. Then when she brought the blooming onion she told us she would wait 5 minutes to put our order in because the salad would come out to fast. Over an hour goes by and all of our drinks are empty, other guests that came in after us received their food and left. Not one person had checked on us. We finally seen her and ask for a refill. Another 15 minutes goes by and she tells us she had to make more tea. We finally received our salads and food comes out like 15-20 minutes later. Our food was awful, shrimp was like rubber, the steak was salty, my daughter got sick and ran to the bathroom to vomit. I had to get up and go to the truck while my husband tried to get the check because I was so disappointed. None of our main courses was eatable. The waitress tried to get us to go boxes but my husband told her it was awful and not eatable. I'm really understanding with customer service because that is how I supported myself for years. The restaurant was not busy at all. We paid 130.00 for blooming onion, drinks and salad. There was 3 other tables complaining and waiting for the manager.....

Yesterday was my first time there. Let me start with their service. Firstly, I got there with my friend, they took our phone number and asked us to wait outside for 45 minutes because people are not allowed to sit on the chairs by the door. The weather was 28° degrees freezing, I thank God we came in our car, what if we had come with Uber? This is the first time in my entire life I was asked to wait outside a restaurant, I have been to different states and countries, I have never experienced such treatment so... Secondly, they asked us to wait for about 45 minutes that they will call us but they never did, my friend went in to ask them if we can come in at 40 minutes they said we should wait for about 15 minutes more, we decided to wait for their call, after 1 hour they didn't call, so we went back in after an hour 10 minutes, at that moment I was upset why they didn't call, they said, "Oh! We called you but you didn't pick up." We showed them our phone that they never called cos there wasn't any missed calls or voice message. Finally, we were given a table with no napkins and cutleries. We had to ask for it after they served us food. I enjoyed their bread, the steak wasn't fantastic, but their rice is a no-no for me. Anyway, this is my first and last experience cos nothing will take me there anymore.

It saddens me to say that my experience wasn’t the best. I’m hoping it was just an off night, however, I don’t think I will return to this location. Upon walking in I was greeted by the hostess who was very welcoming and greeted me with a smile. The establishment was very clean and displayed the rustic Outback look that we have grown to love. Upon being seated, I was greeted by my waiter who was pleasant and all smiles. Upon ordering a Lemonade I was advised that the restaurant was all out of lemonade so the option of any Lemonade based drink was out of the question. And so it begins! Upon placing my order I wanted a side salad but the restaurant was all out of Caesar Dressing…. At this point I’m ready to just go home and call it a night however, considering I had driven 30 minutes to get here I decided to stay. Throughout the duration of my stay my waiter was absent. I only saw him 1. When he delivered the drinks. 2. When he delivered the food. And, 3. When he delivered the check. There was no variation of check-ins, nor was my drink refreshed without a formal request. #Sigh. The food: My steak was absolutely delicious. It’s something about a Steak from Outback that is unmatched. It was well rested and the perfect temperature. Perfectly seasoned and truly made with care. The mixed veggies tasted just like steamed veggies. Nothing special. No seasoning. Truly bland at its finest. However, they had the perfect firmness and with a little salt and pepper, they were a great pairing with the steak. Overall my experience was below standards from a customer service standpoint as well as with reference to what I have come to expect from the Outback brand. If you’re in the area and in the mood I suggest you get it to go.

This was our first time at a Outback in a long time. We went for a mother's day lunch. The food and service was top notch. We all tried the blooming chicken meal because, none of us ever had this before. It was excellent, the French soup was excellent, everything was great. This location had a great staff. I was really impressed by how we were taken care of. I highly recommend this location for a good meal and service. With this being said. The cost is going to keep us from eating here on a weekly basis but, for special occasions we will be back for sure. The food quality and service was worth the cost just not every week. That's all I'm saying.

I usually don't go to Outback Restaurant, but since I were giving their gift card for my birthday, I decided to go. I prefer Longhorn. I ordered the 18 oz ribeye steak and this is what I get.😳 First, I complained to the waitress Ellen about how it didn't look like a ribeye steak. I heard her go back into the kitchen and jokingly repeated what I said about the steak. Secondly, she never checked on me for refills, did I need anything else, or just checking on me period. Third, she made sure that her caucasian customers were very well seen about and I was seated across from them. Lastly, I will NEVER go back to Outback Restaurant again!!!
