On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina

This location is right next to the movie theater. We got there at 740pm and had plans to see an 8pm movie. We sat at the bar for quick service. We told the bartender we were going to see a movie in 20 minutes and needed the food fast. So we placed our order and literally in 5 minutes we had 3 full meals, chips n salsa, and 2 drinks for the girls. Gotta say they made it fast and the food was good. We made it to the movie just as the opening previews were ending. Will be back again for sure.

Looking for a place to eat and happened into this establishment. Spacious room with old west decor, we were seated quickly, our drink orders taken while we checked out the menu. The chips were fresh and the salsa was flavorful, but was a bit more on the hot side than I was expecting. None the less I was able to continue enjoying their salsa after the initial rush of heat and rapid eye blinking (I am a lightweight, so it my not be spicy for you). Our selections all came with a nice selection of alternate sides to choose from. I chose the lunch mesquite fajita platter, w/sides black beans and cilantro lime rice. The meat was tender, the mesquite flavor well infused, veggies were al dente (not burnt or mush), and there were 4 home made tortillas. The other meals were enjoyed equally by my fellow guests, with specific mentions of unique flavors layers in their selected dishes. Our table was checked on, drinks were refilled and a request for additional guacamole was brought immediately. For dessert, we shared a warm walnut fudge brownie with ice cream. The perfect top off! The price... Very reasonable for the quality and quantity. I have a large appetite and I actually had to ask for a take home box!! 😊. This will be a regular planned stop when I'm in the area again. I'll also be looking for a On The Border nearer to me. Hopefully with a kitchen staff who delivers the same delicious food.

Really great inauthentic mexican food! Comes with chips and salsa. If you order guacamole the make it in front of you which is pretty cool. We usually order the 3 for $12 (it changes a bit monthly) and share it since the portion is so big. The service is really great and a good spot for a cheap dinner out if you know how to order!

Food tastes greats, beer is good and I love the glasses they come. This is a great place if you have time to wait. It took 10 minutes to place a drink order. Food came out hot and in a reasonable time. It took 20 minutes to get the bill and we never had the opportunity to order another drink during the meal.
