Chaat Cafe

Went for lunch, ordered two lunch specials. Prepared quickly, but only 2 other customers there for eating in. Few minutes wait to order, reasonable as phone orders were coming in. Portions were a little bigger than average, but not generous. Attention was paid to our request for medium spice, which we appreciated. Veggie wrap was good. Dal was tasty. Food came up pretty fast, made fresh. Overall a good experience, food wasn't great, but it was good enough that we'd go again, especially if in a hurry. Everything we saw was clean & neat. That was reassuring to see, we appreciated that.

Pretty good restaurant!!!! I ordered the Tandoori mixed grill plate. It was a combination of lamb, salmon, and chicken. I have to admit that was probably my favorite meal from here. The meat was well seasoned and portion size was huge. The pieces were very large and I loved the onions on top. Full of delicious flavors. Expect to pay a high price for this meal but it's worth it.

We swung by this place in the upscale Fallon strip mall. The place was nice, cozy and people behind the counter were super nice and courteous. That alone lets me give them 5 stars. Coming to the food - I wish it was more flavorful. The chaat I shared in the photo was good. But the paneer pakora was just OK - I wish they'd spice it up a bit more! Magic with indian food is the spices - if it's missing, whats the USP? Update: We went there again and ordered the same items. They were super tasty!!!
