Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse

Delicious! I stopped in coincidentally during restaurant week which was nice. I sat at the bar since I didn't have a reservation but that wasn't an issue. I had the filet with roasted garlic whipped potatoes covered in crispy onion straws, the steak topped with jumbo crab, asparagus, and Bearnaise. The steak was incredibly tender and food the perfect temperature. The staff were really nice and courteous as well.

For a superior, high quality meal and exceptional service one cannot do better than Hyde Park. I am not exaggerating when I say my generally rambunctious family literally ceased to talk, during those initial first bites, while in the throes of culinary ecstacy ! We agreed it was some of the best cuts of beef we have ever eaten in our lives. Be prepared. Side dishes easily feed two or three people, so you will want to share. Yes, it's rather pricey for some, but absolutely worth every bite! The culture among staff is clearly team-oriented and the customer benefits from the positivism this generates. The ambiance is low-key, intimate and soothing. Dress code is buisness casual to dress.

A splendid summer evening dinner at the Hyde Park. Our first visit. Christopher made us feel welcome as did all the staff we encountered. We started with an appetizer of calamari. Very light breading on the large rings. Not the usual tiny extra crispy ones you might have ordered at other restaurants. They were combined with veggies in a slightly spicy sauce. Wonderful! We split a steakhouse chopped salad which was tasty. My wife ordered the petite filet simply grilled and I ordered a larger Cabernet filet. Both were cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth delicious. Our side choices were the sautéed spinach and mushrooms and whipped potato’s. Both good. We were pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of mushrooms in the dish. We expected more spinach. Parking is easy in the lot. We spent $150 but didn’t get any drinks. We’ll be back.

First off, great customer service. I’m very satisfied with their work around here. They fixed my phone and changed my SIM card. I will be coming back if I have anymore telephone problems. Also, they serve great fried hamster. Like just the saltiness mixed with the chewiness is Devine. Simply to DIE for. Although they did deep fry my shoe.. I’m not mad tho. The shoe was also delicious.
