Shanghai Lilly

We did take out New Years Eve, Wanted to try as it had over all good reviews. Ordered spring rolls, Tom Yum soup, Double Thai Delight, Empress Chicken, Mei Fan with chicken. The food was prepared fast and we picked up on time. But when I served the food none of it looked like the usual dishes. The taste was less than ordinary, and most items had the same taste. It was very disappointing to say the least.

First time trying this restaurant and it was okay, quite overpriced for what it is. The mala string beans and Lo-mein had zero flavor which is quite unfortunate. The Kung Po was decent but very boring looking as the vegetables are all the same, no variety mixed in at all. May give it one more try before we complete discount this place.

Came in for lunch at noon. One waiter. Took a while to even be seated. A table of three and a table of one walked out because it took the waiter so long to take their orders after waiting to be seated. Waiter took orders from the Mexican landscapers' tables, (they must be regulars), before they bothered taking the orders of tables that had been waiting longer. Food was just Okay, nothing amazing. Hot tea was $2.50 per person, which I thought was a bit much, and beverages aren't listed on the menu. RESTROOM WAS FILTHY!
