Iron Age Korean Restaurant

Very spacious inside and great service. Our server was Asian Matt, he was so nice and attentive! Food was nice with variety choices of meats and side dishes. I wish they had stew options but i heard they replaced the stews with steamed eggs. I've been to many different types of unlimited bbq places but this one is far the best!

The ambiance is totally unique. There are massive screens with K-pop acts constantly reinforcing the trendy Korean culture and cuisine. The service is friendly and authentic. You basically sit around a barbeque recessed in a big table and cook meat to your hearts content. The Korean server shows you the ropes... or even cooks every dish for those less experienced customers. You can stay there for hours and order steak, shrimp, unsmoked bacon, paper thin brisket and a whole lot more. You can order vegetables but after paying a roughly $30 price tag most people are determined to eat nothing but meat. There are a selection of thinly sliced garnishes to accompany each dish. We noticed some Korean customers wrapping the meat in leaves pulled from a whole head of Romaine lettuce. This is a delightful social experience. Even if you had nothing in common with members of your dining party, you could discuss the nuances of cooking raw meat ad infinitum. Really a wonderful experience and the only reason I only awarded 4 stars is I really like veggies. We had to go on a 3 day purge to get all that quite delicious--but quite decadent--meat out of our pores.

My first time experiencing this type of dining. I love that you cook your own pre-seasoned food at the table. The staff checks in on you to make sure you are on track and cooking safely. The AYCE meats of your choice and sides are great in flavor and portions. My favorites were the spicy squid and the Angus steak. The meat was so tender it was unbelievable. The pork belly was beautiful, but a little tough. I do want to give it another try though. The drinks are not strong but they taste good; especially the lemon martini.

After going here for over 7 years, Iron Age is consistently one of the best KBBQs in Atlanta. Their staff is friendly and they have all of the meats you could ask for except galbi (which is made up for with how good their bulgogi is). Their soju is also delicious and they have a handful of craft beers on tap as well.
