Simply Done Donuts

Absolutely delicious donuts! Fresh made to order with a fun window to look through and watch them top your donut with whatever toppings you chose right after it comes out of the fryer. Super moist and delicious donut, I could have eaten a dozen without blinking. Staff was very friendly and service was very quick, especially considering they make each to order. Facility was clean and neat. We will definitely be coming back and I will be getting more than the two I ordered to eat this time, I'm thinking probably at least 6 just for myself!

This place hit home with me. It smells amazing, the decor is inviting, and the staff is friendly!! All things you want when visiting a local establishment during times of inflation… Location: tucked in downtown Duluth down behind Maple Street. It took me a second to find it, but once I did I lit up. Decor: loved the benches against the wall for dining, they had several tables inside and outdoor. The wall had an awesome design with Duluth in it. It felt local and I loved it! They also have a huge display on the back wall to show you each donut style. Staff: they ask if you’ve been there before and I hadn’t, so they welcomed me there with a smile, and showed me the donut on the counter so I knew what to expect. These folks are on it!! Donuts: Finally!! First glance, I wanted to eat all 9 of them, they smelled great, they felt great, and omg do they taste great. I tried the plain donut first so I had an understanding of the main component in all their styles. The plain one was perfect. Not overly sweet; not dry, not a heavy oil taste, just perfect. The donut had a very soft and chewy consistency which is how a donut should be made: the second donut I tried was the apple pie. I could eat 40 of these. The pie filling was warm, the donut was sweet with the frosting, it was heaven in 2 bites. We have several other flavors left and I’m certain it will knock our socks off like the others. I love bakery items and they’re so hard to get right. Donuts are a classic treat that you usually depend on DD to get right, but they have failed me over and over. It’s refreshing to know a small donut shop tucked in Duluth has found a way to make a donut stand above the rest. If you’re in the area or live 25 minutes away like myself, they are worth the trip!!

Simply Done Donuts catered dessert for our wedding and it was fantastic! We selected a variety of their donuts and every flavor was absolutely delicious - guests loved them! The mini donut size was perfect. Lacey was so great to work with to get everything all set, and the cost was very affordable for such high quality. Highly recommend!!

Simply Done was the PERFECT choice for National Donut Day! Leading up to our event day I worked with Lacey who was super responsive and helpful. I chose the donut wagon where the crew comes to your location and makes fresh donuts on-site. Best choice! The crew arrived on-time the day of our event / excellent communication / the donuts were DELICIOUS!!!! I could not have asked for anything more - highly recommend!

As a mama of a baby girl who is sensitive to dairy, I’ve had to cut out dairy from my diet hoping it would make things better. I’ve been craving donuts lately but couldn’t find any that didn’t have some type of dairy in it, until I found this little gem! Simply Done Donuts have such a great variety of vegan donuts that are very tasty and not too sweet. Their petite sizes make me feel less guilty about eating so many. I promise, they don’t taste any different than regular donuts! My only complaint is that they’re only made on the weekends, but I look forward to having them as a weekend treat.

Staff were SO friendly - like just so kind. My son loved watching his donuts being made. The donuts didn’t stand a chance - they were delicious. The staff were also kind enough to include an extra mini plain donut for my 15 month old (I didn’t request this, it was a nice surprise). We also ordered an ice coffee and it was perfect. We will definitely be back.

Visited family at Christmas and they raved about this spot. Took the wife and kids to check them out and it didn't disappoint! We got their Vegan donuts and regular. Couldn't tell the difference b/t the two. Both were DELISH! Coffee: FANTASTIC! Honestly, can't think of a donut shop that does good coffee but now we can. Wish we had one of these back in Texas!
