Luxor Restaurants

The first time I went to Luxor with my friend was back in 2019 and it was a good place. The vibe was great and karaoke was great. But this last time we went it was horrible. No one came to see us. The vibe was WAY off. We were getting stared at like we had 3 heads or just didn’t belong there. And they even told us and a few others to leave because it was reserved for VIP. I think there was some scandalous stuff going on there. Me and my friend will NEVER go there again.

The location of Luxor is kind of odd. It’s behind a shopping plaza where you have to go around to spot them. I love coming here ever since college; I didn’t know why it took me so long to give them a review. Came here on a Tuesday night with the girls and our bartender was amazing. We went through so many round of shots and she was amazing. Apparently she was the only working but we didn’t wait at all. 5 girls and our tab was $600!!! We love the hospitality that we received and it was $600 worth spending. Until next time!!! Peace

This place is extremely greedy when it comes to money. I wanted to give 5 stars because the first time I went with 2 of my friends, we had an amazing time. The price was a wee bit high but it wasn’t that bad. Now for the 2nd time? Worst place to come to especially if you’re paying a deposit to put a room on hold. The deposit doesn’t even go towards the cost of the room or toward your drinks/food. It’s just an extra few hundred bucks in their pocket. Not to mention they add their own tip which is suppose to be voluntary. Now I’m not saying I don’t tip because I always tip even if the service wasn’t great but after seeing that final bill and the way we were treated, I won’t be coming back and I strongly advise that nobody comes here because you’ll be slapped with a bill of hundreds of dollars. 150$ for a BOTTLE?! The lady argued with me about their prices and told me it was more expensive at other places. Lies. I’ve been to other places and the most they’ve charged for a bottle is less than half for what they charge. Basically this 2nd experience was a huge joke and very disappointing considering it was fun the first time I went. The lady came in to the room trying to take our bottles with 15 min to spare that we paid for and my friend told her to put it down because we still have time left. I mean, our bill was over 500$.. But anyways, I guess just don’t make a deposit and just come in whenever to buy the room hourly up front because this place is dead every time I’ve come here and you’ll get a room no problem. I can see why people don’t come here. Save your money and go to Echo or another karaoke place!

I never leave negative google reviews, but this is the exception. This place thrives off of ripping off its customers. This place is insanely shady and will nickel and dime you. I came here with a group of friends a couple weeks ago. One of my friends snuck in alcohol, and we were hit with a $300 fine. We decided amongst ourselves this was our own fault since there were signs posted throughout the establishment warning about potential fines for this. Even though $300 is an INSANE fine for sneaking in drinks, we still really liked this place so that incident didn’t stop us from coming back again. We went again tonight with a group of 8 and were told if we wanted a room to accommodate all of us, we would have to pay $260 for 2 bottles of alcohol. We paid it, agreeing to split the cost among ourselves. When we ended our night, our final tab came out to be $390. We were forced to pay a 20% tip which came out to $60, even though the waitress did nothing but bring us our alcohol and a plate of fruit. We originally really liked this place but will not be returning. We’ll be going to another much cheaper bar in the future. Save your money, this place isn’t worth it.
