Bellisio's Italian Restaurant And Wine Bar

REALLY DISAPPOINTED. We went out with my wife and were expecting the best food since every plate we order were above $30 dollars. We started with some cocktails and they were really watery (Old fashioned and Cranberry highball). I decided not to get any other drink at all. My wife drank hers because didn't wanted to complain about it and the server remove one from the bill. He tried to do a good job overall. We order the " Calamari" $16 dollars and they were the only exception in the entire night. After that we got the (Alaskan Salmon $40 dollars) specialty for the night and it was bland. My wife order the (Lobster Capellini $34,50)and was flavorful but very little of the lobster or shrimp. Literally not worth it. We ended up paying $130 dollars for food and we're not happy or content at all. I love going to high end restaurants because I have high expectations and off course expect the best for what I pay.

The atmosphere was Italian themed, dim lighting, but very comfortable. Service was amazing. But most of all, the food was phenomenal. The Chicken Marsala was cooked right. Portions are satisfying. Definitely reccomend for a nicer casual style dining arrangements. Whether its a special occasion anniversary, first or second date, etc.

I enjoyed my steak, potatoes were a little salty but good over all. The wife wasn't to crazy about her pasta but it was nice they made it vegetarian friendly for her. Server was friendly and very nice. It is pricy like everyone says $30-$50 per plate depending on the choice. Decor was a little dated but cozy nonetheless. Staff was awesome.

We went on a Monday evening and asked the server for wine recommendations. He told us he was mostly familiar with wine by the glass. I also asked him for some bottle recommendations which he didn't share much. We debated getting a bottle or not and determined to go with a glass each since my wife wasn't sure how much she would have. We noticed every other table had 1 or more bottles of wine. After the server asked if we wanted another glass we asked if there was some kind of bottle special. Turns out it was half priced bottles! Sure would have been nice if someone said something especially after we spent more on 2 glasses than we would have had we ordered a half priced bottle. The server said "I guess we let you down by not telling you". You think? I figured maybe he would give us one of the glasses free, but he didn't do anything. Skip this place...if they actually cared about their customers they would at least try to make it right. Or at least have the common sense to tell someone they are about to spend more for 2 glasses of wine than ordering an entire bottle.
