Sonic Drive-in

Went there at 11:30 pm on a Friday. Sat in line forever. Got up to the speaker and no one said anything. After a few minutes we assumed the speaker must have been broken, so we continued on following other cars. The car in front of us got their food and left. We pull up and the guy looks terribly confused and just stares at us. We asked if the speaker is broken and he says in an annoyed tone “we’re closed.” My husband looks at the clock 11:58, but says “isn’t today Friday?” And the guy flatly says “we’re short staffed and closed early.” It wasn’t even 12 and they were supposed to be open til 1. They let us just sit at the speaker without telling us they decided to close specifically on us with multiple cars behind us. The people in front of us got food. But they became so short staffed in the three seconds between cars that they couldn’t even tell us they closed early. Will not be back.

Been coming here for the past year since living in Duncan. Yes there have been times that were bad due to short staffing, but hey that’s everywhere. The last 3 times I have gone have been phenomenal. My food has come out quickly and fresh. And I just left, and the carhop was the sweetest and went the extra mile. I think his name was Patrick. Will continue to come here!

Going down hill fast. Last few times I've been here in the past month... Orders come out wrong. Once the order is fixed, the rest of the food is cold. Usually sonic is fast. I ordered my food at 6:20PM and didn't receive it untill 6:47 PM. My entire lunch break was spent waiting on my food 😒 Y'all need to step it up over here.

It took over 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time for us to receive our mobile order. While we were waiting in a stall, the drive thru cycled through at least 2 times. Once we finally got our order, everything was completely melted and it was clear that it had been prepared for quite a while but was never delivered.

Being on a diet, I get one cheat day a month. I have not had Sonic for quite a while and decided that this cheat day I would try the new Sonic pickle burger. Well, for starters the burger I got was not what was ordered. Dry, no pickles, no mayonnaise and the bun was hard. The fries if that is what it was were cold, stale and floppy. I can say that I’m probably never going back. It saddens me to say this because Sonic can and does have good food but this experience was just to much.

They were slower than molasses in January. I waited over an hour to get my 3 drinks correct I had ordered ahead on the app. I talked to two staff members that said oh I don't know what is going on I just got here. I am sure the Sonic was just having a bad day and they had to call in reinforcements. I was disappointed I didn't even get an apology or my drinks compensated. I mean seriously an hour for 3 drinks! Come on.
