Tony's Pizza

Pizza was pretty standard for me and my cheese slice was heated up pretty quick. Ordered garlic knots what were fresh out of the oven because we arrived at 11:30am. I’m giving 5 stars because the 2 gentlemen working were so nice and very attentive. We will be coming back here if we’re ever in Dunedin again. Thanks guys!

Pizza was delicious!!! One star for whoever the middle aged gentleman with white hair at the cash register was on Feb 13, at 745 pm. Completely unprofessional and rude. We had a group of 5, who were polite, not intoxicated, and excited for some pizza, only to be given snark. When asked if ranch was extra, the gentleman slammed the cash register and said "well it's your pizza". We couldn't get out of the store fast enough. Outside, where others were eating their pizza, several people also commented about the rude behavior from this guy. Dunedin is NOT the city for that.

My friend and I were very happy to discover this cozy pizzeria that offers fresh, hot, tasty "NY style" *pizza by the slice* beyond lunch time - in addition to whole pies, salads, sandwiches and more. Though the crust is actually thicker than true NY style pizza, our slices were so yummy we didn't mind! Bonus points for the friendly staff.

Ordered the pie and added an additional topping and it was still a fabulous deal. The staff was outrageously friendly and very proud of their product. The thin crust was crispy but not too hard. I ordered pepperoni and sausage and HAD to eat one piece before leaving my parking spot. I was profusely thanked for stopping in and when I asked if I could take pictures it was a-ok. The dining area is long and one-table wide. So cute and reminded me so much of Italy. Merci! Perused the menu and many saw exciting items to try next time. The Chicken Coza Nostra (grilled chicken, mozzarella, roasted peppers, sundried tomatoes, basil, olive oil & balsamic). That makes my mouth water just thinking about it. And it can be ordered with eggplant too! Parking is free which I find always to be a perk. I'll be back really soon.

I have been there several times, it's convenient, prices are decent and the food is good, not amazing but for the price its reasonable. I've tried giving it several chances. We had tried to place an order online, we got the total but couldn't pay, so we called to order instead. The price was 3.00 more than the listed menu price and the one given online, we were paying cash at the counter with no add-ons or substitutes. When we asked about it, he literally started talking to someone else, I was going to tip that amount anyways so no biggie. The next time, we had a larger order and they were very nice to us, while we waited, I witnessed them being rude to another customer though. The next time we ordered, my fiance said as soon as the cashier knew we were just ordering slices, he became agitated/ perturbed and kind of rude, which is what happened to me a few weeks later when I ordered three slices. I don't take it personal, but when I asked for a box, explaining we were eating in the car, he just put the pizza on paper plates inside a brown bag. I didn't ask him again for one, knowing he heard me the first time, but I wish I would've offered to pay extra for it, because while driving home, it leaked out of the bag onto my lap, staining my skirt. We eat pizza in the car successfully all the time, a box makes all the difference.
