Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

In ancient texts, there are stories about men who struck from the shadows, seemingly beyond the reach of death itself. These men were considered part angel, part demon. They are highly prized intelligence agents, military operatives, and assassins. One man is all three. Two days ago, that man was crossed—badly. Now, far from home and surrounded by his enemy, Scot Harvath must battle his way out. With no support, no cavalry coming, and no one even aware of where he is, it will take everything he has ever learned to survive. But survival isn’t enough. Harvath wants revenge.

Wonderful friendly staff. The food was good quality and there was plenty of choices on the menu. I had the Southwestern shrimp and avocado salad. The dressing was so tasty that I asked the waitress If I could buy some to take home! Every one remarked about how good their lunches were. They also have a 55+ menu if you're old enough. This Perkins has a bakery and everything in the display case looked amazing (I don't eat sugar) but if I did I would have tried something. Great location and the food was surprisingly good .

Service was good. It's been a while since we have been here. The breakfast portions have gotten smaller. We use to get the Mammoth muffins and they were so good. The Mammoth muffins this time were much smaller and very dry, had a corn bread consistency, didn't taste very good. Probably won't go back.

At 6:44 am this morning 5/5/19 I ate at the Perkins Store #1288 2375 Curlew Road, Dunedin Florida 34698. My server Stephani was friendly and competent. The food was good. HOWEVER, and this is a BIG HOWEVER, on three different occasions during my meal I was pressured into posting a Google review and overtly encouraged to post a positive one. My server told me they were having a contest to see "who could get the most". So management, the problem is you! My server was clearly doing what was requested of her. As I told my server, I don't normally post these, but you wanted a Google review, you got one. What would have been a pleasant experience was turned into an unpleasant encounter. AND it is important for other readers to understand that Perkins' Google reviews are being artificially influenced, so you should consider that when reading them.

Great Breakfast Place in Palm Harbor ! The staff is attentive and friendly. They have a good selection of menu items, especially, their bakery items. We come here often and they always keep the tables clean and ready for you. Ask for Jennie, who we feel is their Best server ! The bathrooms are also always kept clean. Thank you.
