Marker 8 Pizza

Dunedin is fortunate to have a lot of nice pizza places. Now it also boasts a great pizza place! I saw a post online during September for a half off deal and decided to try it. Their pizza is amazing. Generous toppings, just the right amount of cheese and their crust is like the best breadstick you've ever tasted. It was so good that first night I ordered it again the next night, both nights the pizza was fantastic!

I called in to order a Buffalo Chicken pizza to go. After ordering I called back less than 2 minutes later to modify the order, but I was told It was already in the oven. Not a problem, I understand they may work quickly. Upon showing up 23 min after ordering, I was told they were just making it now. I was confused because when I called back 2 min after ordering I was told it was in the oven but then when I showed up it wasn't even started. The employee "Bee" told me they were very busy, which I understand, so I told her I'll hang out and have a drink. After sitting there I tried to speak to "Bee" and explain frustration in ordering a pizza 20 min prior and it still not being started upon arrival, I was told that she advised me 25 min and that it had not been 25 min yet. She was right, it had actually been close to 30 min with still no pizza. As I was speaking to "Bee" she walked away from me saying I have to cut her a break for being busy. I am from New Jersey where we have great pizza and I was told this place was top notch compareable, unfortunately "Bee" prevented me from even tasting the pizza because I left after sitting there for 25 min. The customer service was honestly disgusting and having someone that rude running your business on a Sunday night is definitely a poor choice.

The pizza was good, service was also good. They need to get a beer and wine list though. Selection was ok but they didn't have a list of what they carried. Amostphere was cool and hip which was deceiving because the outside made it look like a run down, hole in the wall pizza place. Overall was very good though.

I cannot tell you anything about Marker 8's pizzas or food but, I can give you the experience I had with an employee. Marker 8 pizza was EMPTY. Unfortunately my experience with them was due to an extremely busy Eddies Bar and Grill. After a wonderful day on the water we drove from the boat dock with boat in tow to Eddies Bar & Grill. Eddies was packed and there was no parking available at their establishment. Marker eight pizza shares a parking lot with two or three other businesses that were closed in a building right next to Eddy's bar and Grill. We parked in the back of their parking lot 100ft away from the front door in parking along the street (which was actually the JR. league parking) and all 4 of us started walking to Eddies. I was chased by a employee and was told we needed to move. I questioned why (there was easily 10 other parking spots). She was arguing her delivery driver could not leave the restaurant and drive around from the side of the building with our boat parked in the front parking spots. I covered five parking spots that maybe filled 3/4 of the length of the actual parking spot. Clearly this was no way in anybody's way. She threatened to call the police on my family(2 adults and 2 kids under 8yrs) for parking in an extremely empty lot. I told her that I needed to walk to find another location to park my vehicle and boat instead of just driving around Looking. She informed me it was my $175 tow. I walked past Eddy's Bar and Grill looking for another spot to park. When I walked back this woman actually was on the phone standing behind my van reading my tags in an attempt to have us arrested or towed. I simply moved as I said I would to another location one empty lot past Eddies and proceeded to have the best hamburgers and flatbread pizza with some more quality family time at a great FRIENDLY restaurant. Either Eddy's Bar and Grill's success has caused this particular issue before or this woman was having a really really bad day. Either way I'll never eat Marker 8 pizza!

Called a tow truck on me while I was eating dinner!! Left my husband and 5 month old son in a dark parking lot, I will never eat here and make sure anyone I know doesn't either!!! Shame on you!! There was no sign in my parking spot at all..... no wonder your restaurant was empty! I hope you go out of business - HEARTLESS!

literally the most disrespectful staff I have ever encountered. their food was mediocre and their staff was rude to customers and made us wait forever. waited about half an hour before someone even acknowledged I was there and when our food finally arrived the order was not only wrong but not even attempted to correct the issue. will never return.
