Fabulous authentic Arabic food . I am a chef who worked for years in the Middle East and I can guarantee the cooking is of a very high standard, everything is delicious, falafel hummus, babaganoush, tagines and shaslik were all top notch and the salads are amazing!! Lovely ambience and friendly staff. Best restaurant in Dunedin by far, highly recommended.

It's rare to find true middle Eastern food here in Dunedin. You may talk about kebab houses but it is all mostly Turkish. There are vegan and vegetarian friendly options here. The food is pretty good especially the hummus (it's pretty authentic). The portion size is pretty big as well The reason why I rated a 4 star was because they have added heaps of garlic and it was overpowering

Really good service. Prices are fair and the menu is simple ‐ not overwhelming, yet good opportunity to try something different. Nice seating options either in oaths, by the fire, or in the atrium with views out to Hanover/Filleul streets. Only downside, was quite noisy with 2 different radio stations playing at the same time. Perhaps just the chefs choice of background music??
