Setauket Pastaria

If you need to plan a party then look no further. I was looking at several Italian restaurants for a surprise birthday party for my husband. Did not feel comfortable with what the others were offering for the prices they were charging and then I looked into Setauket Pastaria. After all I always ordered my take out food from there and the food is always excellent. So I sat down with Elena. She went over everything with me and decided to book my party of 20 guests there. The pricing was quite fair. I touched base with Elena several times beforehand and she always assured me that everything will be fine. Well, all my guests had an excellent time. I knew the party would be good but I was not expecting EXCEPTIONAL! The food was outstanding as well as the service provided by Elena and Yuresky who were our servers and went above and beyond to cater to all of my guests needs. One of my guests has Celiac Disease and needed her food made Gluten Free. No problem. In fact my guest told me that they definitely prepared her gluten free food correctly because she had no stomach issues the next day. Every one of my guests were given the gold star treatment. Elena went out of her way to accommodate everyone’s needs and preferences. The chefs did an amazing job. My guests were texting and calling me days after telling me how wonderful the party was and specifically mentioned the food and service. In addition I just wanted to add that whenever I come in for my take out order I am always greeted by the friendly faces of Collin and Jhendili (we call him “Jen” for short). They give the gold star treatment on the take out end. Thank you Setauket Pastaria!!!! You are the BEST!!!!

Our favorites are the chicken roasted red pepper and the God father pies. We order them often and there always delicious. My bridal shower was there 2 years ago and the food and staff were awesome. This past weekend they catered the food for my backyard party and everyone loved it. They delivered everything on time and we were all impressed with the amount and quality of the food. Thank you Setauket Pastaria for making everything fantastic!!

As someone with celiacs disease, it’s very hard at times to find good gluten free Italian take out. I absolutely love this place. It doesn’t taste “gluten free.” They have an entire gluten free menu with so many traditional options. So grateful to be able to enjoy food I don’t have to cook- & not get sick!

My very first customer experience in Long Island couldn’t have been a better one. The folks behind the counter clearly enjoyed their work environment. Were exceptionally helpful on recommendations. And then Joan, at the very end, while my card had repetitive system errors from my end (I’ve traveled 16 hours, there’s no telling what I jumbled, my brain isn’t working), was beyond exceptionally hospitable. She’s a mom she said, so taking care of people must be in her DNA. Also, the food is phenomenal. Best panini ever. 10/10 recommend
