I saw the comments on Xiaohongshu（Chinese social app）.The haggis is good.I also taste the whisky which is also fine.I order the meal deal which is 35 pounds which includes the Scottish iconic dishes.It's also suitable for one people to come. The staffs are very friendly. The overall experience is good but the price is not cheap at all.

We stopped into the Whiski Rooms for lunch, it was delicious! Jaime was so very kind and welcoming when we came in. We had olives, sourdough and lamb, my husband had a flight of whiskey and I had wine. Gluten free is clearly marked on the menu which is important to me. It was quiet and comfortable. Stop by and you will not regret it.

Had a great dinner here about a week ago. They have an impressive whisky menu and the service was really good. I had the fish and chips and really enjoyed it. My wife and I both really enjoyed the sticky toffee pudding at the end of the meal too. Just a great meal in Edinburgh. I would highly recommend coming here, just a great experience overall!

A must-visit restaurant for Scottish cuisine.We had the scotch egg and the Whiski Rooms salad. Both were great, especially the salad. Vegetables were fresh and the salad sauce was flavorful and refreshing. For main courses, we had Scottish salmon and venison rump. Both were delicious but venison rump was outstanding. Highly recommended!

We came for the whiskey tasting experience and definitely were not disappointed. We didn’t book ahead of time for a full tasting experience but they have smaller, less formal tasting options in the bar area. Our server had awesome recommendations for us. For myself, I preferred a cocktail and they did not disappoint. I gave our server a flavor profile and he made me a custom drink. For the food, we only got snack/bar food. The fresh, hot, and crusty sourdough bread with the balsamic vinegar was DELICIOUS and an absolute MUST order. If we’re ever in town here again, we’ll definitely be coming back by here.

We had a wonderful dinner experience here. All dishes we ordered were tasty. The scotch egg and the Whiski Rooms salad were both nice. Salad sauce was quite special, and the vegetables within were fresh. My friend and I ordered Scottish salmon and venison rump for main courses. I especially loved the venison rump. The meat was tender, flavorful, seasoned really well. I also liked the caramelized cabbage and carrot that came with the venison. I enjoyed the blood orange cocktail as well. Service was great, and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. Overall a highly recommended place for some Scottish cuisine.

While looking for lunch we walked past Whiski Rooms. My son and I were so happy we ate lunch there. My son ordered the steak and chips and I ordered the steak sandwich. My son loves his steak, as it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My sandwich was great. I loved the caramelized onions with the steak. Prices are fair, dress is casual and staff is friendly.

My daughter and I went here early because we were doing a tour at 6:15p. The 35 day dry aged steak was excellent and the chips (fries) were really lightly fried and crispy. I enjoyed the rocket (salad). They have an extensive whisky list and Scotch flights. This allows for some rare tastings and a variety of tastings. They have live music that we might come back for later tonight!
