Red Kite Cafe is a perfect place to have breakfast in Edinburgh. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is cozy.
We tried the coffee, pastries, and some breakfast dishes, all of which were delicious. The staff was always friendly and helpful.
We definitely recommend Red Kite Cafe to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast and excellent service.

We just went in for a coffee but the food looked so good we ended up having brunch. Staff were really friendly, service was great. The food was delicious and really good coffee too! Highly recommend!

My husband and I went in for lunch on 10 June 2023 at around 2pm and we were served by a young gentleman by the name of Thabo, who had a wonderful personality and an even greater smile.
We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of this café. Apart from their breakfast plates, they also had an array of sweet pastries and savoury quiches. Needless to say, we were spoiled for choice.

We visited the Red Kite Cafe for lunch on Saturday. The staff were super friendly and attentive, despite it being a busy lunch service! We both had the pork sausage rolls which were absolutely delicious. They had a great selection of soft drinks and the coffee was the best I’ve had in a long time! Unfortunately I was too full for cake - they looked amazing - so I will be back soon for cake and coffee. A lovely place which is well worth a visit.

We showed to Edinburgh and we’re just walking down the street randomly and I felt my body get pulled suddenly into this restaurant. I didn’t even know what happened, I realized that god pulled me into this shop for a reason, so ordered a soup that was quite delicious with a equally delicious scone. It was ever so yummy. I left very happy and it was very affordable

Whenever we are in Edinburgh and needing a breakfast we go to Red Kite. I love their coffee (Americano) and Harrisa Egg. They are so good. The staff are very helpful polite and the place is cozy.

Really cosy and comfortable cafe with a nice ambiance. The breakfast menu is simple with enough variety to tickle anybody's fancy. We ordered the Devilled Fried Egg (which was absolutely brilliant) and the Red Kite Veggie Breakfast. They were both very well done, with a lovely balance of flavours all round. The staff were very friendly and the service was quick. The prices are slightly high for the portion size, but the quality really is great!
