Ben’s Cookies is a chain, but you might not realize that if you stumbled upon this tiny little store. They do one thing well and that cookies! If you are like me and prefer slightly crispy and flavorful cookies then this is the perfect place for you. They also have very cheerful service and prices are reasonable. It’s only for take away so don’t plan on eating your cookies there!

Visitors to Edinburgh should add a trip (at least one!) to Ben's Cookies to their top five must do/see list. Seriously. These cookies are amazing. I bought the dark chocolate chunk to sample and went back a day later to try a couple more. One of the staff offered me a box of seven that were a day old and discounted. My taste buds and stomach were thrilled. Loved the milk chocolate chunk, double chocolate chunk, orange and milk chocolate and found the matcha and white chocolate chunk and the praline and milk chocolate better than I expected. Found the white chocolate chunk tasted like, what Americans would call, a sugar cookie. Still plan to try the peanut and milk chocolate and the triple chocolate chunk.
May 10... several return visits later I wanted to note that the triple chocolate chunk is good and the peanut and milk chocolate is my favorite. Also just tried a scoop of their chocolate ice cream, and it is damned good.

Was so surprised to see Ben's Cookies in Edinburgh! I am so used to seeing them when I visit London it was just amazing!!
We bought a small box of cookies which was 7 cookies for £11.
It sounds pricy but as a treat and the quality and portions you get it is well worth it.
There are lots of flavours including ones which are specifically vegan which is great.
They are all so fresh and suitable to eat for 4 days after purchase!
We bought milk chocolate, chocolate and orange and coconut ones and I can't wait to go to my parents and share the rest with them! Yummy!

It smells so good and tastes soft!
And the size is quite big.
(But still a little expensive 🤪)

A huge fan of Ben's cookies ever since I came to Scotland a year ago. The perfect blend of soft, chewy and a mild crunch in their cookies. The staff are very sweet and helpful too.
The only downside is, it's a bit expensive to get very often and the options are always the same.

It's a great cookie place in the heart of Edinburgh.
Not too many options, look like American style of cookies (I thought they were quite chewy and soft), I got the hazelnut and milk chocolate one, it was more like a biscuit (crunchy) than a cookie. It tasted really nice.
They offer good deals if you get cookies and coffee.
Definitely going back to try another one!
