It's like walking off Edinburgh's Leith Walk through a magical door into a "grocers" in Italy.

I love this place. Visually very nice, there is a lot of quality stuff. Awesome cheese selection. If I could leave with a whole wheel I would do it without hesitation! I would love to find more French cheese there. But it's already great. You are at the top !

The outside has a small entrance but don't be deceived! The shop runs deep and hidden at the back is a cafe serving food and breakfast. Valvona & Crolla has a very interesting history and sells books by the author Mary Contini who is part of the family that runs the shop.

Great to be back. Had to get taxis there and back but coffee and bacon roll excellent staff helpful and knowledgeable. Got some great wine at affordable prices. Will be wonderful when tram workers stop leaning on shovels and finally clear up their mess. Viva Elm Row!

This store is a food lover's paradise, offering a wide variety of high-quality Italian and Mediterranean food products, as well as a deli counter, wine and cheese shop, and café! If we lived in Edinburgh we would be hitting this place up weekly! 🧀

Asked some friends for a great lunch spot as its our Aniversary weekend and was recommended to visit Valvona & Crolla..
Could not have been happier.
