It's been a while since I last visited Footlights and I'm so glad that the hiatus is now over. What a great pub and run by a great team of people. Service was exceptional considering how busy it was, and our food was delicious.
This is a fantastic sports bar, well worthy of all its accolades.

Great place to watch football and any sports, standard pub grub with large portion sizes. Allowed me to bring my young child too for the Sunday day time kick offs.

Walked in this place randomly and never regretted the choice. I had Steak and ale pie, my daughter - Cheesy Bull burger, and my friend - haggis burger. Yammy! The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Great sports bar and simply the best burger I’ve ever tasted “The Haggis”; so no need to tell you what your getting!

Really friendly and welcoming bar. Lots of great beers on offer and there's a nice vibe to the place. A beer and a cider cost just under £10 and the bar staff are happy to offer a taste of a beer if you're not sure what to pick.
There's an open mic advertised for Thursday nights.

Big selection of TV's for lots of different sports. Menu for food simple but good. Variety of all the drinks you'd generally want and it's not bad. Enough space but like all pubs in Edinburgh has busy times. Staff are friendly and helpful.
