On a weekend trip to Edinburgh we discovered this place for breakfast and would definitely recommend. Waffles, porridge and bagel were great and the coffee was comforting. Lovely spot with great service.

Absolutely love this place. Such a lovely view of new town. Perfect rest from shopping sprees. What a nice place and the menu is lovely. They always have freshly baked cakes and the soup of the day was incredible and so was the fresh bread that came with it !!

Very cosy place with big windows. Nice view outside (including castle). The price is very friendly. I love the soup.

Nice and cosy, good selection of hot drinks, overall a good choice if you are needing a place to sit for a coffee and cake or even just to take a break from the cold. It tends to get packed, which makes the service rather slow, I have had to wait to pay for the bill far too long (once at the bar after 15+min wait at the table).

Perfect little spot right in the centre of town. It never feels too crowded, even when it is busy. The scones and cakes are great with a tea or coffee. The decor is very sophisticated yet still homely. A real favourite of mine.

Open late, great tea/coffee selection, tasty cakes and friendly atmosphere. Staff lovely and helpful. They also have beer and wine!
