The Printing Press Bar & Kitchen

We had a lovely evening here. The bar is beautiful and serves excellent cocktails so arrive a little early to peruse the menu and have one! Once in the main restaurant area, the food was excellent, and the service was lovely too - attentive but not fussy. Finally, when my partner could not finish all of her risotto (it was beautiful I have to say, but just too large to eat it all :), the staff insisted on taking it off the bill. They wouldn't even hear of us paying for the half that was eaten (and believe me we tried to convince them). They were so lovely about it I can't begin to say. If we come back to Edinburgh we would not hesitate to return here for cocktails and food. Highly recommended :)

Fine food and lovely place. I had the chicken breast with creamy mash potatoes , cabbage and wild mushroom. It was absolutely Devine, especially the gravy. The cod croquette were well balanced in flavour with just the right amount of salt the enhance the flavour of the cod. I had the chocolate fondant with a soft vanilla ( Madagascar I think) ice scream scoop. It wasn’t special but still enjoyable :)
