Harry's Bar

This place has changed for the worse, our favourite cocktail no longer available, we still asked for a gin and rhubarb one to be made up and the barman obliged. The food has been dumbed down, burgers mostly. They had run out of steak so no steak sandwiches. We had fish cakes for starters, the korma, which was tomato spicy unlike normal korma and green dream salad for lunch, which we enjoyed, but it’s not what it was, not a favourite now. It says Harry’s meets Sofi’s but Harry should dump Sofi.

A brilliant hidden gem of a bar. The cocktails were lovely and the bar itself was really nice. We were interested as well to see the bar is dedicated to giving back to the community and its amazing to see businesses giving back so we will definitely be returning and recommending to others to support them in this.

Here with a friend on a itison voucher. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Food was wonderful and the variety of flavours excellent. Catering for meat eaters and veggies. Nice selection of drinks. The best bit is "The ethics of the company" getting young people into work by identifying there potential and encouraging them to advance. We were very impressed with Harry's Bar. The tapas were excellent and having lived in Spain, it was far better than anything there. We sat outside with our pooch and was a very relaxing atmosphere. What was also great was the service. Liam, the bartender, was helpful, knowledgable and very friendly. We found out that Harry's Bar is a social enterprise, providing training for those who've had challenges and need that support and guidance in finding work and a future. We will definitely be back.

A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE Basement bar in the West End with a small garden area at the back where you can smoke. This operates as a social enterprise with some profits going to charity. It also offers training, work experience and qualifications to those who find it hard to find work. It offers a good selection of beers; spirits, cocktails and wine. There is also food available in the form of tapas style sharing plates.
