Best burger I have tasted in some considerable time. The burgers are moist and juicy, cooked perfectly, the fries are fresh and tasty, and the milk shakes thick and lush. I would highly recommend Burger for a quick but high-quality meal.

Quick and no fuss burger joint. Sit down at a table, check the menu, get up and order at the till with your table number and they bring your food out. I had the Katsu Chicken burger and fries. The chicken was fried in batter with a wasabi mayo, it had 2 bits of chicken in it so it was a fork and knife job. Chicken was lovelya dn the fries were crisp. Can't complain really for a tenner.

I had the vegan burger and it was spicy but I actually enjoyed it. The place was empty when we arrived (1pm) so we got our orders very quickly. The restaurant facilities and toilet are very clean and the service is friendly however you dont get table service (a bit odd considering the burger prices are average)

Absolutely love this restaurant. Visited the old premises a couple times and this new one seems even more spacious and it looks great. We both got bacon cheese burgers with onion rings and chilli cheese fries as sides. Food is fresh and delicious, not too greasy too. Had the frozen cider slushie and it was amazing! Definitely ideal for the summer weather. This is a bit more expensive than most burger places but it's totally worth it. Great food and great service.

Food was very nice; the burger looked lovely and juicy and the macaroni cheese was delicious. Loos were perfectly acceptable I thought. The waitress was very nice. However, they lose a star for only offering halal chicken (which is about half the menu). I don't want to each chickens that have been cruelly killed because of a few peoples religious dogma.

I stopped at Burger for a late lunch after a Sunday stroll around Edinburgh. It's a very laid back and informal establishment with some delightful and welcoming staff. The music being played was at an entirely tolerable volume neither causing distractions or inhibiting communication. Service was swift and uncomplicated, the waitress being both efficient and incredibly pleasant. Of course the food is the most important thing. The fries were crisp, flavourful, skin-on delights. That was something of an unexpected delight. They were well seasoned excelling in a rich, earthy flavour and not a seashore salt pan. I also indulged in a chocolate shake was one of my favourite for a while with quite a deep, cocoa flavour and less of the "just melted ice-cream" sensation. This sweet treat was a great complement to the fries. The burger, of course, is the main event of a place called Burger. When I visit any burger joint for the first time I always choose their simplest burger. My reason for this is that it's easy to confuse people with a multitude of complex flavours using all sorts of additions, however a simple burger is difficult to get right. Burger's meat was evidently good quality although a little over done for my taste. As with the fries the burger seemed well seasoned. My one complaint would be that there is a little too much of a sauce reliance. With quite a powerful sauce above and below the burger the flavour of the meat was a little overwhelmed. All in all I would recommend a visit to Burger. It's not Mcdonalds though so don't expect a particularly cheap meal but it is less expensive than some of the other similar options in Edinburgh. This is simply a great, casual and unpretentious treat. For me it was a pretty good prelude to an evening of NFL.

Burger is as you would expect a burger joint offering high quality fast food. The interior is well decorated and sophisticated and looks very clean. There are a good selection of burgers with different meats and toppings to choose from, there are also weekly specials and a selection of milkshakes. The chips are great, skin on and handmade looking. The burgers we had did have a bit if grease on the wrapping however I had a burger topped with pulled pork and sauces so it's hardly surprising! Not somewhere to go if your on a diet but a delicious indulgence that I will be returning to.

Of all the burger joints that have popped up in Edinburgh recently, Burger is my favourite. The menu is relatively small but the specials are fantastic with something different on offer every week. The burgers and fries are tasty and reasonably priced, and I can't get enough of their milkshakes - especially the boozy specials like Raspberry Daiquiri or Bellini!

Burger is a great place to head to if you are after some super tasty, super quick food. They have a great range of burgers whether you are a meat eater or veggie and with specials changing regularly there is always something different to choose from. Straying away from the burgers I would say have the chilli cheese and chips and a vanilla milkshake the fact that they do delivery meant that this combination saved me from a rather large hangover, the milkshake was the best!

I've enjoyed my trips to Burger so far. The food is more than decent and it comes quickly with a smile. I've never been a particular fan of paying for my food before I've received it but at Burger I'm less concerned, because I know what's coming out will be quality. Despite the all-encompassing name, though, I have to say they're not the best burgers in Edinburgh in my opinion. A welcome addition to the scene, however. Can't beat a bit of competition.
