Loudons New Waverley

I went here on a whim for breakfast one morning during my trip and I was so happy that I did. I was able to be seated right away and the staff was so nice and accomdating. The food was soooo yummy and the portions were pretty large. I got a chai and it was freshly made and delivered to my table sooo quickly. I was able to fully enjoy my food and my drink without feeling rushed. It was so quiet and just a vibe that I didnt want to leave.

Absolutely delicious food. Their lemonades are divine. It started raining about ten minutes into our meal and they were careful to hold a table for us inside, as we were seated outside. Excellent service and atmosphere. It's clearly a popular place, but not at all loud. I would recommend getting a reservation so you don't have to wait.

Loudons has a great breakfast/brunch menu. I loved the avocado on toast (must try) and the coconut pancakes were great too!! The staff is really sweet and the service fairly quick too. You have loads of vegan/vegetarians options on the menu. There’s lots of seating space both indoors and outdoors. Always a lovely experience having a meal here.

Convenient location and nice brunch options. The food was tasty and it was nice to try vegetarian haggis and black pudding. Care was taken with the food to make sure it was seasoned well and the poached eggs were good. The coffee was ok, the single estate blend was better than most chains. The choices of tea were great too, it was nice to have loose leaf oolong tea. The place did lack a little atmosphere and personality as it felt it was set up for corporate events. The staff were really friendly and helpful with service being quick. I think some house plants and nicer touches would lift the place well. If you are in the area this is a lovely place for brunch and to try a Scottish breakfast.
