What a beautiful pub, I hear it hasn't changed since 1906 and I can see why! Can't beat it if you're looking for a traditional Scottish pub with a great range of drinks, and that bartender James really knows his stuff

This place is great! The atmosphere is very nice with a good mix of people. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was really good. I’d recommend this place to anyone and will surely come back here!

Excellent neighborhood boozer. Historic Public House tastefully decorated with original features & interior. The draught beers are well kept. I tried the Wee Jock,a good entry level Scotch Ale & was fresh & tasty. Good ambiental music too with relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Lovely old bar tucked away from the crowds. Like stepping back in time. A proper bar, with proper Scots ales, and a massive selection of spirits. The staff are really friendly and very understanding. Worth a wee visit if you're in the area and thirsty.

They got such an amazing collection I was astonished. Personally they had my all favourite whisky collection
They got shinning knight on the cask ales. Yet not to forget it's pricy a bit. Because I wanted to have Rasmay it was £7 something for a shot.

We loved, loved Bennets Bar! Truly authentic with beautiful decor and good food and drinks! Especially appreciated the fabulous bartender, Ian!

I absolutely love this pub! The staff are lovely, the pub itself full of character and much like the Tardis is bigger on the inside than out. It's well known for its snug that you sometimes need to book in advance which I've not got yet.
As for the drinks, they have an amazing whisky collection and recently opened up old, and very expensive ones to serve to use mere mortals. I've yet to try one, if any left.
I'm a Guinness drinker, and it's exceptional there, but the prices are city prices so just be aware but don't let it put you off. It's an amazing pub that does a good selection of ales, etc and food too, as well as live music. You won't be disappointed...

Fabulous & friendly traditional Edinburgh pub with beautiful stained glass, fireplace & brass bar fittings. There is also a tiny snug with it’s own hatch to the bar which is great for a conspiratorial chat!
