Filling Station

Easy to pre book and plenty of places to sit. It is an italian American venue with much motorsport memorabilia. The menu is italian American. So burgers , mac and cheese is on there. We welcomed and seated, and the food came in a good time. The burgers were little battling a monster, and it packed a punch of a taste. Both meals came with 2 drinks to 55 uk pounds

This place has a great atmosphere, wonderful service and the food isn't bad either. We both had a mixed drink. Wife had fish and chips while I had the rack of ribs. The ribs were cooked to perfection, but aren't cooked American style. They don't put any rub on them before cooking. The BBQ sauce is quite good but in true brittish fasion the meat has little spice. For desert we had the Sticky Toffee Sandwich with salted carmel sauce. This was spectacular! My only complaint is that the restaurant has a large set of stairs to get to the bathrooms. Well worth the trip and grab a pint or something a wee bit stronger if you like. Greta was our server and she made sure we were well cared for.

Hi ,, we were over in Edinburgh for the weekend, and found this restaurant on the Friday night ,,, it was that good we went back again on the Saturday night .. Service time excellent .. Food awesome.. And some of the staff we met were excellent.. " there attitude to customers are next to none "especially the 2 girls that looked after us from start to finish" Keith and the troops from Northern Ireland....

It's become a tradition for us to stop off at The Filling Station during a trip to Edinburgh. This is the first time we have had breakfast though, and it was delicious. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The decor is fabulous and creates a wonderful ambience. If you're visiting Edinburgh, I recommend this great place to eat!

What an amazing experience. Initially got my wife's order wrong but rectified the error within 5 mins. I've worked in Complaints and Compliance for a long time and I accept things can always go wrong, however, I measure a service on how quickly things can be fixed. I tipped the waiter and the manager gave us free coffee and deserts. Food was amazing and good value.
