Five Guys Edinburgh Frederick St

My first time trying out Five Guys and I now understand the hype! Ordered the bacon cheese burger basket. I always leave burger buns wherever I eat, so great to have the option to bunless from the outset. Beautiful quality beef patties, large portion size. Had salad, pickles and mayo as additional options - all fresh and crispy. Ended with a vanilla shake, which was absolutely lush - thick and creamy. Great view of Castle while eating too. 👍🏻

This is a big place! We had the whole upstairs section to ourselves. Very clean. They are very generous with their chip serves which is awesome as they are yum. The veggie sandwich burger is yum. Doesn't have a pattie, but has veggies and salad. Was nice. I appreciate that there is ketchup to take as much as you need, plus sachets of mayonnaise. Very nice service.

This is my second time in five guys as always wanted to come here in honour of Kreed (kreeds world) from youtube. I wasen't a fan of the double pattè with melted cheese in the middle last time or the amount of salt on the fries but this may just be my personal taste. This time I opted for hotdog with all the toppings I am allowe for gluten free. They made this really cool burger for me in a lettuce wrap for bun and are very allergy and intolerance aware and savy. I also asked for fries with no salt so I could add my own more reasonable amount plus pepper. I really enjoyed this this time and highly recommemd it for anyone intolerant to gluten though you have to make your own judgements based on their allergy sheet which is readily available at tills or download it from the website. My only and huge issue is the disabled toilet the bin was disgusting with incontance smell, the door needs sorting as too stiff. The tables and floors in the restraunt need much more regular cleaning and clearing. Both days this week I have ate in and never has anyone gone around cleaning so this needs addressing. Hopeing I don't have any access issues with my assistance dog when she comes in the better weather. The milkshake is the best in the world

First time ordering from Five Guys and I was not disappointed. I spoke to a great server who was polite and we had a great chat about the new Zelda game whilst I decided what to have (it really helped) The choice of toppings/fillings on the fries,burgers and shakes were great. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and a milkshake with Cajun fries. (This is an expensive place just be aware) The food was brilliant easily the fries are on the list of the best fries I've had and absolutely heaps of them which is great. The burger this was perfect, nothing was sliding about and everything was cooked to perfection. Two patties seasoned well with delicious American cheese in between and then the crispy bacon, there was no skimping here the bacon was perfect a crunch with every bite. The bun held together through the whole thing which is really impressive. Milkshake was a strawberry milkshake and was again brilliant, real strawberries mixed in, it packed a real strong flavour and was a great mix with the burger. 10/10 cannot wait to try the five guys in Lincoln
