Had a friend's leaving party here and had reserved tables. Nice atmosphere, great selection of cocktails/pitchers and overall would love to come back next time I'm out and about in city centre!

Regular at the Dougie pub quizzes. Always a fun atmosphere, even when we do terribly. Staff has always been great as well.

Friends and I love going to the weekly pub quiz on Sundays. DJ Dougie is a friendly delight and the quiz is a great mix of challenging and feasibly knowable.
It’s a great atmosphere and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun quiz in a cool student-dominated locale

A fantastic bar in the city centre, Dougie runs a fantastic quiz on a Tuesday and Sunday, absolutely worth going to if you've got any sort of knowledge whatsoever.

Was in early evening, was quiet, friendly bar staff, music at a decent volume made it easy chatting, we didn't eat but the food did look good. Decent selection of beers and the prices didn't seem a rip off.

Our group had vouchers for cocktails (1 drink each) and nachos. The bar was pretty empty when we arrived but got steadily busier and noisier as the afternoon went on. The cocktails we ordered were really nice, all being consumed and another order placed. The baskets of nachos were a nice touch to nibble on during our stay. We noticed that quite a lot of the tables were pre-booked, which would be a good idea if your in a large group. If you like a quiet drink in a relaxed atmosphere, this place is not for you, unless you get here very early before the crowds arrive. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented.

Second visit for cocktails & nachos groupon deal. Cocktails were nice and so were the nachos, could have been layered with cheese underneath though. Quite a small bar so gets packed easily.
Friendly staff. In a good location. Attracts lots of students as it's near the University.
