Pizza Express

My wife and I shared the chicken goujon dish( which comes with pesto for dipping and 3 goujons ) The calabrese pizza ( rectangular one ) good size for sharing which was absolutely delicious, and the Polenta fries which came with a decent but kind of basic vinaigrette type dipping sauce. Couldn’t really fault any of these dishes in fact thoroughly enjoyed them. For dessert the wife had chocolate brownie and I had tiramisu both were lovely and decent sized portions. The bill came to £56 not bad at all. Would definitely come again and hopefully not too long away.

Pizza express is back to its best, like when it first started. The menu is new and excellent and the taste and presentation of everything we ordered was great. The kids menu is particularly good value and surprisingly healthy, including ice lollies that are pure organic fruit and veg. Someone with great taste has clearly curated the menu. Service was really good too - fast and friendly. I’m fact the only slight negative was the look of the place as we walked in - I think the lighting or something was poor and it made it look dingey. But everything else more than made up for it!

Used our tesco vouchers to get 2 huge delicious pizzas. We were disappointed that no nicer placed tables were available. It was very busy and when we asked for one away from the main doors one of the staff was downright rude and also assumed we hadn't booked. She wasn't pleasant at all but the man who served us was.

Having read the reviews beforehand I took a chance but expected to be disappointed. I noted the GM replied to everyone so I took a note of his name should there be a problem. However…..upon walking in the friendly waitress took care of us….even although we can be fussy and particular! The food was very good, pizzas, pasta and dough balls. Really nothing to complain about. It was a very satisfying lunch. Now feeling full
