Friendly neighbourhood bar a short distance from the city centre. Ordered nachos and chicken goujons from the small plates menu and was really impressed. So many pubs do these dishes and they're a bit generic, but these were excellent. Atmosphere was buzzing even on a cold Sunday evening and staff were dealt with the busy bar well. Decent Guinness and they have a great whisky selection to.

Big burgers! If you are hungry I would definitely recommend you to come here and try these great burgers. Especially if you want to eat something before going to the royal garden, this is the right choice. By the way, there are many alcohol options inside, so I won't comment on this as I haven't tried them, but they looked good quality.

Absolute gem of a pub with more than a touch of true Irish charm, a good range of beers on tap & an extensive selection of Scottish and especially Irish whiskies. There is also a great Vegan (full) breakfast available at the weekends The photos don’t really do it justice Helpful & incredibly friendly staff☘️ - will be visiting again very soon!!😎

I'm actually here now watching the rain fall from sunny skies, glad to be out of it as I drink my Guinness. This place is a gem of a find and I can't believe I've not dropped in before after five years of living here. It's an absolutely perfect pub, cosy, friendly and welcoming. I feel totally at home here. The food smells divine although I've not had anything, but will do on my next visit. The staff have been lovely, looking after me straight away, and after the whole issue of lockdown and working in the trade myself, think we bloody deserve much more than we get, but here, I'm guessing they're well looked after, and if not, they should be. I've lived in Ireland and have family there and this is more authentic than the usual tourist trap places you get elsewhere. Visit. You won't be disappointed.

Food is very delicious, there are plenty of options to choose from including seafood and vegan. The only thing it felt like there was not enough staff to manage during busy times. And staff although polite, some of them seemed tired, please let them have a good rest BOSS! It would be nice to receive a menu the moment you arrive at the table and not wait for it 5 minutes wondering if staff totally forgot about you, especially when you are extremely hungry 🤪🤤 Other than that, great atmosphere, great food! Will definitely visit again!
