This is my go to fried chicken takeaway. Great halal fried chicken for taste, size, and price. The uncle who owns the shop is very nice also. The shop itself looks run down but that doesnt matter to me.
This picture was when we ordered 11pc fried chicken (We got 11 and didnt wait for the photo) last night after I moved away from Gorgie. I recommend it to anyone 🤤

The workers were extremely nice and the food was perfect, it did take a bit of time but it was expected and was worth it as the food was good and not to mention cheap as well. 10/10 will be coming back again.

Honestly so much better than expected! We live quite close so we went to pick it up and everything is so cheap so between the price and reviews we didn't expect much. But we were so happily surprised by how good everything was. Got the meal for 4 and added some onion rings and everything was really good, would definitely recommend!

Better than expected. We asked for diet coke and they sent us full fat. Chicken was good quality. The coating is a bit too salty, not too much of a problem for me as I'm a big salt fan.

Not quite sure why people left a lot of negative reviews, but the chicken at this place is absolutely majestic, plus at a very cheap price. I've never found any cheaper chicken options than Cheeky Chicken in Edinburgh. It's so affordable and tasty, and on a weekday you'd have to get in a line to get your food.
It's primarily a takeout chicken place, not for dine in.

We got cheeky chicken when visiting Scotland (stayed at the Melville) as we had a late lunch so we said we would order something when we got hungry, we placed our order on uber eats and it came on time, the food was very tasty and the delivery driver was very friendly, would definitely recommend, looking at the google reviews i think some of them are ridiculous, there is one about a 50c price different and they got 1 star, im sure if you notified the business of this very minor mistake they would of been grateful. Some of them are ridiculous, its awful.
