Hey Palu

Anyone that knows me will realise I'm a rough and ready bar type but this place is top quality and very very good. The Godfather cocktail was fab and Marlon Brando staring at me with every sip. Very comfortable bar stools were a delight as was the chat with the fab staff. I'm glad my son took me here yesterday!

Hey Palu is a must visit for seriously good cocktails, great service and an all round good vibe. They clearly really care about making outstanding drinks and each time I've visited I've been really impressed. Their house martini is especially delightful, served right out the freezer with truffle olives and olive oil on the side. I also love that they do a whisky of the month - something very interesting that you might not find anywhere. When I visited last it was Benriach 16. I look forward to my next visit when I'm in Edinburgh again!

Great vibes inside. Bartenders are very friendly, and the drink is quite interactive - I was able to pour my own martini, and my boyfriend made is own paper plane for his drink which led to him winning a shot! Really cool place. They also had a little card with recommended local restaurants and bars which were super helpful. 100% recommend.

We had a fantastic time at Hey Palu! The bartenders were really attentive without being intrusive and it looked like they really enjoyed making the drinks. We tried a number of cocktails and they were all delicious! Service was quick and friendly and the Italian nibbles we had (focaccia, dips & burrata) were great. The atmosphere and music are fun too. Will definitely be back!

First time here for valentines cocktails and small plates and what a fantastic time we had! Cocktails are next level, the delicious sour and coconut white Russian being my personal favourites. The food was amazing and the staff even better. We got served by the lovely owner, whose name we sadly didn't catch. He made the whole experience amazing, so welcoming and friendly. Will be back!
