Stopped by for some appetizers and a drink at this pub and I'm glad I did. The environment was lively and yet relaxing. The apps were filling enough and the staff was attentive.

I wasn’t looking for somewhere to have dinner, I was just going to my hotel but passing by the fox and the faun and feeling it’s mood makes it irresistible to step in. Once there I remember a great vegetarian burger and a paint of Guinness surrounded by people having fun and a warm crew. 100% recommended

Such a wonderful pub! All the staff are truly lovely. The cocktails are delightful, many thanks to Vikka (hope I'm spelling that right) for the amazing service. The decor is also very cute. Seems like a lively place with events on every week. But most of all its definitely a place that cares for those who come through their doors.

Had a nice meal. Value for money. It get crowded during evenings. Was expecting more pub food.. we ordered a jumbo prawn platter but the prawns were medium size and not jumbo as described on the menu.
Overall OK place for a beer and a quick meal.

We went on a Thursday, fairly late. Kitchen was to close in 20 minutes (20:40), but we got our orders in, and the food came quickly. We had a couple of drinks and food, enjoyed the live music and it was a great experience. Try the Haggis Bonbons and don't forget the gravy! Will be recommending this place to everyone back home!

Scottish breakfast on arrival and dinner (fish and chips and lamb on a pita) a few days later. If you leave hungry, it is your own fault. The helpings are huge and very tasty. Our server was so nice and helpful. A rustic pub experience. A definite go to eatery in Edinburgh.

Friendly and efficient staff. Food was really tasty. We had fish and chips, chicken pie, mac and cheese, and sticky toffee pudding. Nice relaxed pub atmosphere. Do be aware that they can't have kids under 18 there after 8.

We had an amazing time at the Fox and Faun. It had a great atmosphere, the food was incredible and well-priced too! The fish was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Our server Ronan was attentive but not over bearing. We would definitely return if we come back to Edinburgh.

This place is amazing! Friendly staff and fast service. Good selection of beers, including local beers. I had the vegan nachos and the Buffalo cauliflower. The nachos were good but the Buffalo cauliflower was the best one I've had in 3 countries. 100% recommend this pub and definitely coming back myself.

I came to this pub following other bar suggestion and it was a great experience. Food is really gorgeous and burgers are fresh made using local beef. Ambiance atmosphere is nice and people were really friendly and communicative. The bar man is was a dedicated boy working hard to make us feel comfortable.
