Visited here tonight, the food was absolutely lovely! So fresh and full of flavour, thank you for a lovely meal, we will definitely be back. Highly reccomend, the chicken tikka curry was my favourite !

Such a underrated Resturent .. compare to the food they serve .. it was lovely experience here .. chicken momo is must try for meat lovers along with mushroom rice, dal tadka and mirchi pakora..

I think it would be difficult to get better northern Indian and Nepalese flavours at any price in Edinburgh. A small unassuming place. Great menu and prices. Would recommend.

What a little gem! Don’t be put off by how it looks from the outside or how empty it is inside.
The food is absolutely amazing. And the staff will do anything they can to make sure you have a great meal.

The vegetarian dal was amazing and the the naan was the perfect mix of soft and crispy. I love how many vegetarian options there are. Can’t wait to come back again!

Lovely little restaurant. Very friendly, informative staff and the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommend the Garlic Mushroom starters. Definitely be back soon.

What an absolute pleasure it was to eat here!!! The food is incredible! It is NOT Indian food, it’s going to be a unique experience. The names in the menu might be familiar but the flavours weren’t the typical. It was incredible spiced and aromatic. The service was amazing. Everything so delicious and so freshly made. I cannot recommend enough, you will not regret eating here!!! There’s something for everyone.

We went to Royal Gurkha yesterday for dinner and it was such a lovely surprise. The prices are decent, the portions are big and there are a lot of vegetarian options. The paneer was delicious and the curry super creamy. We really loved the garlic naan, too.
The owner is a lovely lady and it was wonderful chatting to her! We will definitely come back and I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!
In response to older reviews: There is a huge heater now that is making the place nice and toasty.
