Jimmy's Fried Chicken

Managed to get a table when JFC were cooking at Bross Bagels. Really great fried chicken and sides, would definitely recommend the food. However, at £20 for the food alone (drinks were ordered and paid for separately from the food), i'm not sure i'd be rushing back. It was really tasty food and i do want to support local businesses but the price was a bit much for the amount of food given and the the amount you were paying wasn't quite reflected in the restaurant/overall experience. There were no written menus or pricing at the restaurant so we didn't know how much it had come to until we were asked to pay, i should have done more research before booking a table but don't think it would hurt to have a bit more info on site.

I'm cold, I'm tired, but it was all worth it for some of that sweet, sweet JFC. This place is blowing up right now, in huge part to a TikTok that was made, so come prepared: folding chairs and warm clothes are recommended. Make sure you check the opening hours and come early to beat the queue. On to the food. Each different cut of chicken had a slightly different taste and it was all succulent and delicious. The fries were fresh and flavourful. The dip seemed like a pretty regular mayonnaise to me but still great. Overall the price was justified by the quality. Well worth a visit...or ten. Note: I've noticed the location has moved on Google Maps. This review is for the old one and I cannot comment what might have changed with the new one.

Went there today for a quick afternoon bite, got recommended the chicken nuggets which is something I would NEVER go for and I really enjoyed them! Tasty and juicy! Also got a portion of hot wings and REALLY loved the sauce on em! To my personal taste I would've liked them hotter but I do go hard on heat on my food! All in all 10/10, will go back to try the thighs fries and the rest! Last but not least very friendly service and seasoning right on point! Good job fellas!!

Absolutely love a JFC. It is a constant craving in our household. We have had it a-lot and the quality is always super high. The guys work so hard and you can tell so much thought has gone into it. The whole thing is slick! Nuggets, and thighs are a fave x oh and also love the vinegar spritzed fries. Bring on the weekend!
