Salerno Pizza

We have visited this restaurant on 04/11/23, afternoon hours. It was extremely busy and we didn't have a reservation. There was two of us with a baby. I just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff working there as in spite of the fact that the restaurant was super loaded they managed to get us in within 10 minutes. In next 10 minutes we were served, had drinks and I next 5 min our pizza landed on the table. I was pleasantly surprised, as we were expecting a long wait. The staff was super friendly and efficient too. Especially man in dark hair who was letting people in, I did not catch his name but he was so nice and polite. Lady who served us was also very pleasant. Overall it was a good visit and pizza was really good too. I would recommend this place.

Multiple types of pizza with many options and side toppings to satisfy all customers, but all come in one size!. High prices. The place is spacious and crowded, but clean, including the bathroom. Unfortunately, the pizza I ordered was burnt on the edges and the bottom. Also the Italian broccoli I asked to add was not fresh and not delicious!

The pizza was absolutely delicious, the service was impressively fast, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. However, one aspect that left me less than satisfied was the inclusion of a 10% service charge on the bill for both of us. Unfortunately, we overlooked this detail, inadvertently adding an extra 10% to the service charge.

It was very nice. First time I got the spiciest chillies on my pizza. All my experience before Salerno's were like, I used to ask for extra green chillies but they were not hot enough so didn't had much expectations. Salerno didn't disappoint, one of my colleagues asked for fresh green chillies in a bowl but he had to share with everyone as he couldn't finish himself given how hot chilles were. All in all it was a good experience, pizza was big enough worth every penny.

I’m Italian and I find this to be the best pizza in the city centre. Every time I came here I’ve seen other Italians as well, which is a sure-fire sign that the place is good. The pizza base is quite good, but the ingredients are totally top notch! They truly selected the best combination of mozzarella and pizza sauce, which makes them stand apart, in my opinion. I also appreciate that no “weird” pizza is on the menu, just regular Italian-style combination of ingredients that follow tradition. I like service here too, it’s nice to have a wee chat in Italian with the waiter, but I find equally nice that they have a mix of nationalities in the waiting staff. It feels more modern with respect to a traditional Italian restaurant. The decor is also quite hip and modern. Prices are good. I totally recommend this place for a good Neapolitan pizza. Look no further!
