Carvel

I got a small cone which was bigger than I thought it'd be. I like that they had social distancing marks on the floor but that didn't stop another customer from being all over me & others trying to look in the freezer instead of waiting a moment. I liked the ice cream and would go back. This was my 2nd time there. And I love that ther cones come with a crumb catcher.

This is a great Carvel. It's a clean, well maintained store. There's always a good selection of cakes. Well stocked on flying saucers and such. The staff provides good service, in a polite friendly manner. There is limited indoor seating. Coupon specials are displayed prominently. Ample free parking. Conveniently located.

Usually I would go in there for the same thing every time, but this time the young man who served us didn’t give us what we initially wanted. I asked for two hot fudge sundaes with swirl ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, whipped cream and a cherry. When I open my ice cream at home, it was just plain swirl ice cream with a sliver of whip cream a small cherry barely any hot fudge because it drip down off the sides and there were no rainbow sprinkles! When I called them to complain, he didn’t really seem to care because they have an attitude in there often when I go in there any other time. He said that he didn’t charge me for sprinkles so that’s how I knew he didn’t put any sprinkles on it! Not such a good experience, wouldn’t suggest going there. Too bad.

With customers on line my child and i were turned away when we walked in. The girl worker said because they were closing soon. mind u they close at 10pm and it was only 9:20pm. When i left i called and the guy said they ran out of stuff to order that's why we were turned away. However how did they knw what i wud have ordered. I actually wanted something from the freezer already prepared but they didn't give me a chance. I asked fornthe manager YAN which he said wasnt there. I will never go back there again. Fyi wka ago inaaw a ling hair in their cherry and vanilla ice cream bin .

We decided to do a last minute surprise party for my 5 year old. It was a spontaneous idea the day before and we came to carvel in tano mall for the cake. My son is obsessed with mario bros and wouldnt be okay with any other cake. After some talking with nikki and, i believe, nellie, we settled on a design. They were unbelievably helpful and accomodating. When i went to pick it up the next day, it exceeded all expectations. Not only was mario perfect but all the extras is what really made it amazing. Sky, clouds, grass...just perfect. Not too much but not just a simple cake. My son was beyond freaking out. They made the cake and the day better than we could have hoped for. Thank you to those 2 special people at carvel. You made a 5 year olds special day, perfect. We will be back over and over.
