Hot Breads

I wish i could give lower than one star. Just look at the black forest, so called black forest as per hot breads. Not at all black, layers are of white thin layers of cream,bread too dry, sweet as water. Stop doing business if you want to ruin the confectionery cuisines. Just have a good look at pictures, who the hell put cherries inside the black forest. For this branch of hot breads its a joke For them to serve whatever way they want. I cant ruin my day anymore or i would have shared pictures of pineapple pastry, one notch high disastrous.

DO NOT ORDER CAKE FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS FROM THEM. RUDE, INCOMPETENT AND UNFRIENDLY STAFF. Ruined my kids birthday cake. First picture is what I ordered and second is what they made. I called ahead of arriving to keep the order ready. The guy at the register was utterly rude and got confused with Indian names. Had absolutely no empathy for customer. After making me wait for 30 min, brought out the ugliest cake I have ever seen with 4 thin pieces of strawberry thrown on an 8 pound cake. After my husband who had placed the order came in to sort it out, they put some ugly looking blobs of cream on the cake. Absolutely disappointing. Unprofessional.

The worst cake I have ever seen or tasted. Ruined my kids birthday party. Buy a cake only if you are buying it for the people you hate. I have. Nothing is right with this cake. The cake started cracking right after I took it from the shop. I placed on the birthday table and after a few min there are cracks every where. Never seen a cake break like that in my life. The cake is so dry, when we started to cut it, it became a powder. With zero baking skill I would have made a much better cake. Even the color wasn't right. I asked for blue and they gave me a yellow one. I think the baker doesn't know the difference between pistachios and almonds... I always used to buy cakes form Parsippany hot breads, this is a piece of s..t compared to that and costed me almost double.

The guy behind the counter answered my questions about prices and flavors. 6 colorful french macarons are $10 and the dessert cup below it is $5. I got about a quarter pound of almond cookies for $2.50 (about 11 pieces I think) and this chicken filled bread for $3.50 to go. There's a menu on the wall behind the counter. On the right shelves are various breads. There are cakes behind the glass in the middle counter. It is cash only, but they give change. Plenty of parking in the plaza, but the store is narrow in between the counter and shelves.

We ordered a 3 tiered cake for a 50th anniversary party from this establishment and it looked nothing like the picture we chose from. It came with cracks and was lopsided (which only got worse in the next 1.5 hours after it was delivered) ***I would like to add this: although I myself did not eat the cake, most people did really enjoy it.

Bread with fungus. Foul smelling and fungus filled bread right from store. I always ignored . but when reported it for the first time showing picture taken , instead of honest customer service I was told I would have used bread after 3-4 days. This store doesn’t care about customer relations , but only cash. This shop mix up old breads with new. Same with other food items

One of the worst cake that I have seen in my entire life with out of standard food color added in the cake. I brought a cake for my daughters cake smash. After my daughter smashed the cake, the color won’t go off from her hands and face. Also the outer part of the cake was very hard. Never going to that place again and one of the worst place to buy the cake from.
