After hearing that they close their shop in August, I went that weekend right away to haul on those delicious pastries they offer for the last time. My favorite was the almond croissant and their tarts and eclair. But honestly there is no item that is not delicious, and because of the fact I am sad that this shop does not extend its lease and close down. Hope they open in a different location any time soon so the Edmontonians can keep one of the best pastry shop in town!

This bakery was busy on the Sunday afternoon that we went there but we did not wait too long. They have some tables outside for you to enjoy your goodies. The space inside is nice. They have different variety of eclairs and cakes and bakery goods. What I found unique is that they have hazelnut croissant and hazelnut chocolate croissant on top of the usual almond croissant. It was really delicious. We also tried their pistachio éclair which was very good. Their cakes were awesome too. Nice rich chocolate flavors. Definitely recommend this place.

Literally the best Croissant I have ever had. I’ve travelled far and wide and I can say this was one of the best bakery/cafe’s I’ve been too. The tart and eclair were fantastic, but! The Croissant will always have a special place in my heart now. Well done La Boule!!! I will be seeing you on the regular now.

Omg..totally amazing! The chef is from Edmonton. The selection of delicious bakery items are spectacular. The flavors are intense and you see the love in the detail and work of each patisserie. Best suggestion is go early for best selection, as items sell out quickly. The bread was also delicious. You can even purchase chocolate, I picked up chocolate pearls as well. Nice clean store, once you walk in the smell hits your senses of such deliciousness. My favorite is the Raspberry white chocolate square. Don't go hungry, because you will buy everything! Sorry wish I took a picture inside the bakery to showcase the display of bakery selection.

Small little bakery with patio seating and great people watching spots inside. We went a little overboard on the ordering but everything looked so good - and did not disappoint. The cardamom bites and almond croissant are amazing. I also splurged on some ginger cookies for some of that different demographic sampling. Parking is questionable. Park a block or two away to avoid being boxed in as there is parking on both sides of the road and only one car can pass at any one time.
