The west end 170st location is top notch!! since the German chocolate pie is only once a year they normally don’t have the ingredients readily available, I ordered a chocolate cream pie thinking I would add the topping myself well when I picked it up today for my birthday they made me the German chocolate one just for me. It brought me to tears how sweet one business can be. Absolutely heart warming staff !! I’m here weekly and will keep coming back. Love you guys :)

Let me paint your a picture of this morning. We walk in, stand at the counter at 9:15am The staff look up at us and say nothing, which normally doesn’t phase me, but adds to the service we got today. We then order our 3 ham Sammie’s and have a seat. We watch as everyone keeps doing other things for customers that are not even there. Finally. They finish our sandwiches. We then stand there at the front waiting. One lady is helping other customers while no one else offers to ring us in. So we keep waiting. No one bothers to apologize for the wait. We leave at 9:48am. 33 mins for 3 simple sandwiches. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at this location.

First time at this establishment, and not impressed. Wasn’t to busy when we showed up. Not a friendly or welcoming atmosphere. The lady who made my moms sandwich was stingy on the veggies. Which was only cucumbers and onions. ($8.18 for a tuna sandwich) Plus they also charge extra $1.21 for the cheese, without the warning of said charge. It’s on the menu, but hard to see. Hard to see the menus as they are not very visible from the ordering spot. Ordered coconut cream pie ($5.76) bland flavour, not creamy but gelatinous. Overall the experience was not enjoyable. Over $21 for 2 bottles of water, a boring sandwich and a gross pie. Won’t be back!! To expensive!

Do not order pies from this establishment if you're hoping to get what you ordered. Last year decided to order a pie for a birthday only to have an error occur where the pie was cut up and served to customers prior to pickup time and only found out they didn't have our pie when I had gone in to pick it up. Decided this was a one off occurence and decided to give them a second chance. Clearly this was putting too much faith in them as they once again repeated this exact same error. This seems like the easiest of fixes such as putting a piece of plastic film with some writing on it stating it should not be served to customers, but for some reason this problem occurs without fail for us.
