El Fogon Latino

The cachapas were ok but chewy, one of them was a bit burned and the other one was not properly cooked, which makes me think they don't have proper griddle. The cheese was nice but stone cold, not a good combination and made the cachapas cool down pretty quick. Drinks were overpriced, $4 for a Jarrito is probably too high. Worst part was the welcoming... We were y told right away they were very busy with to go orders and they would be closing pretty soon, so we may order only quick things... She didn't mention cachapas, but when asked she said it was ok. Looks like they are more concerned about selling lotto tickets than hiring enough staff to be able to serve customers.

Good food and flavours. A little bit pricey but still good to try their Colombian and Venezuelan dishes. Friendly staff and clean place. The Bandeja Paisa is big and worthy. The beef soup is a little bit expensive for the size and I was expecting a stronger flavour. The tequeños were too salty, I have tried them before there but this time was way too much salty. The empanadas are delicious and their salsas are marvellous

I love this place and will definitely be back. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was outstanding and incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had planned on getting my food to go, but the atmosphere was just too good not to sit down awhile and listen. Thank you for your great service, and filling food!

El Fogón is a locally owned casual Central American restaurant, the owners are very nice and make you feel at home from the moment you enter the restaurant. I had a cheese and pork Papausa and they were both made fresh to order. I tried out their homemade green and red sauces and they were both fantastic. I can't wait to come back and try more things and become a regular customer.
