Coco's Deep Fried Chicken

Delicious Soy Garlic Chicken! Although we tried both their regular fried chicken and the soy garlic, my personal favourite was the soy garlic. The sauce was perfect and the chicken was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The meat was well-seasoned as well! As for the regular chicken, it wasn’t as amazing but it wasn’t bad either! As for the mozzarella sticks, I was really satisfied with the amount, but found they were too salty. The service was amazing and we were greeted by the staff with a warm smile from behind the counter. I gave the place a 4/5 because we dined in, but because they didn’t have plates of any sort, it was slightly difficult to share one box of chicken between three people and we had to eat on top of tissue paper - it was quite messy. Other than that both the food and service were great!

Entering the restaurant, you are greeted with sticky floors and an eerie quiet dining area. It seems that most of the folks take this to go or order takeout. I had the Garlic Soy and the Honey Butter with a side of honey garlic sauce. The food was okay, however for the boneless chicken bites..it was fairly pricey. All in all, decent experience. I would recommend you try it out if looking for halal Korean fried chicken and price is not a concern, halal Korean forced chicken is rare in Edmonton.

First time ordering from here. Ordered via Door Dash. Ordered for myself, my wife, and toddler. I’m pretty disappointed in my experience tonight. I had pretty high hopes because many of the images on reviews look great. Fries — very, very soggy (see image), smaller portion size than I was expecting. Boneless Chicken — flavor was decent, but breading was wasted because of how soggy it was. I imagine these probably taste super good when you can enjoy it when the breading is crispy. I’m not quite sure what I was expecting for portion size, so I guess I can’t be too critical toward that. But it would be great if the restaurant could explain portion sizes. Mozzarella Sticks — Standard mozza sticks. But, as you might have guessed, soggy. If I could make a recommendation to the restaurant it would be to invest in properly vented take-out containers. That would mitigate a lot of the issues. I don’t think this experience is representative of this restaurant; maybe I’ll try doing a pick up order in the future to reduce time between dispatch and receipt of the food.

Had the soy garlic chicken combo with fries and a drink. Portions for decent for the price, the size of the chicken pieces were pretty big. Fries were alright and the chicken itself is pretty flavorful. Employees here are nice. Chicken is made to order. CONS: The soy garlic is sort of watery and a little sweet for me. Sort of made the chicken soggy after a while. Came here in March 2022

I ordered pickup from here recently. The atmosphere seemed enjoyable for dine-in and the lady was friendly. In terms of food, I got their 10 pieces half and half - Sweet and Spicy (Extra) and Soy Garlic. The pieces of chicken were large and flavourful/saucy. The sweet and spicy (extra) was quite distinct from other places in that it was quite spicy. The parts I didn’t like as much were that the pieces were quite differently sized from one another and a bit difficult to eat, that there were too much breading for my liking compared to other Korean Fried Chicken places, and that the meat was not as flavourful as expected (the sauce made up for it though)

I got a ten pack of wings for 10.99 I picked the the sweet and extra spicy sauce. I have to say they were absolutely insane. Flavour through the roof, come to find out all there sauces they make. Which In my opinion is the best way to have wings done. Also I’m unsure but I feel like these guys get there chicken from the Hutterites. You can tell with there wings being almost double the size of normal wings from like pizza 73 or somewhere like that. Over all I would definitely recommend over and over again. Everytime I’m down here I have to try more so worth the prices

The chicken and boneless chicken are delicious. Very crispy, lots of flavours in the sauces and seasonings. Had boneless chicken with honey butter seasoning and 6 half and half chicken (soy garlic and sweet and spicy). The sides are fine, nothing to write home about. Would try again. Friendly owners running the shop.
