On The Rocks

Went for the crab boil and Friday night specials. The crab boil was good and had a nice variety of crab legs, half a corn on the cob, some mussels, and sausage along with a melted butter dip. For $30 it was filling but not but the greatest bang for you buck. Extra Legs were another $25 which was little much for a “deal night”. Appies were tasty! One downside to the whole experience was our waiter(Nicole), I’ve gotten bad service before but have never been actually mistreated. Embarrassing for her to have thrown a mini tantrum at our table after we paid(involved collecting dishes so they clattered loudly and threw a napkin into a bowl so roughly it bounced out and almost fell on me… also no bid farewell at all after we paid and left). It was my first time here too, I’ll give it another go but hopefully with a waiter that makes it a good experience. Edit May: came back for the Friday deal and everything was pretty good. Most impressed with the waitress I had this time, I forgot her name since it was a little while ago but she was sooo sweet and we managed to have her rig before her shift ended!

Met some friends here around midnight after leaving another bar. They had live music which is nice to see but unfortunately they were not great. The DJ played between sets and had great dance music. Service was mediocre, took a while to get drinks and very little interaction. Beer was flat but cocktails were tasty. I went on a Saturday night and it’s definitely a club feel. Shoulder to shoulder, good luck finding a seat. Totally fine if you’re looking to dance!! But if you want to talk/sit down you might want to go earlier or try somewhere else. Crowd seemed chill for the most part.

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly (Abby). They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is amazing (Jerk chicken club) and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Abby bought us a round of shots after an oilers win! Definitely coming back!

Fun atmosphere and the bartenders were great and tried to be really accommodating! At 9:45 security came and took the barstools from us which I’ve never experienced before and I’ve gone to a fair share of bars/ pubs. Unfortunate experience as there were no tables available and we wanted to order food. We ended up leaving and coming back afterwards. Can’t say enough great things about the bartenders but to take seats away from potentially paying customers is a strange business practice in my opinion.

I haven’t been here since my partying days. Went for dinner tonight and the service was great. Food was good as well. I got a beyond burger and my friends had the wings, which they said were very good. Lots of sauces and dry rubs to choose from. Good deal on Big Rock beer. When I used to go out it was a cool place to go on the weekends I remember. Live music, dj’s, lots of dancing, everyone is having fun.

Friendly servers. I found that the bartenders would go out of their way to ensure your needs were taken care of. They have maybe 7 or 8 VLTs to occupy the players. There are lots of tables for people's who prefer more private visits. But there's a huge bar in the center which offers alot of bar stools (high chairs with arm rests) for those who prefer the "Cheers" style of drinking around the activities of drink making. Definately a must to visit if you like to get out. Enjoyed my stay again and again
