Poke Bar

First time was good, bowl was portioned properly and had everything I ordered in it. Second time was not what I expected. The bowl was super small and the portions were next to nothing. The sauce is bland and it isn’t spicy at all. For the price, definitely not worth it and kind of a scam. Don’t order the Thai iced tea either, they have no clue how to make it right.

Short on staff but the woman who served us was excellent and as more people showed up for lunch another staff person showed up to help. I order the medium lunch and my friend ordered the small one and both seemed excellent. I took half of mine home and enjoyed it the next day. Parking is good, right outside the door.

Overall, it wasn’t the best experience. The fish seemed lazily cut as they are very irregular in sizes. Most pieces of fish are enormous and should be bite sized, I shouldn’t have to use a knife to make them so. The rice hasn’t been fluffed, it comes out as a congealed ball. For those of us who do not like all of the additional options, I wish they would have compensated with the items we have asked for. At the end where you add your own toppings, you are rushed so they can charge you for the order. I would suggest moving the extra toppings to a bar on the side for a more leisure experience and allowing people to add more of their own sauce on the side as well. Using paper plates to mix fish and sauce doesn’t yield much dressing on the fish and placing the rice on the side leaves it very bland. In addition, the imitation crab would be better if it were made into some sort of salad as well, given that the only time to have sauce on the meal is with the fish beforehand.
